Here’s what some women who’ve traveled with us have to say about NextTribe trips:
“I’d go anywhere Jeannie Ralston is taking us. I’ve been on four beach retreats, and I’ll keep coming back for the fun, fun, fun and the chance to learn and grow.”
—Cathy Wood, repeat guest at our Troncones Beach Retreat
“NextTribe did what it does best, which is to hold space for us to be ourselves, to be in community and to accept our connection, to laugh and shop (and eat and drink) and wonder and inspire each other.”
—Michele Martell, who traveled with us to Paris and Normandy
“I didn’t know anyone else going on this trip, but I quickly made new friends and learned some things about myself. It was a great adventure.”
—Beth Woods, who traveled with us to San Miguel de Allende

There’s nothing quite like holding your warrior pose with an ocean breeze wafting through your hair and the sound of the waves as your soundtrack. The bonus is that you can also enrich your mind by taking optional photo and writing workshops while you’re at the beach. This—and much more—is happening on NextTribe’s trip to the top-rated Present Moment Retreat in the small Mexican beach village of Troncones (north of Zihuatanejo and Ixtapa).
Package includes seven nights, dinners all but one night, all breakfasts, photo classes, writing seminar, daily yoga, daily meditation, and one massage over the week. Number of deep sighs as you loll in a hammock on this gorgeous, secluded beach: unlimited.

Charleston, SC: Friday March 24th–Monday March 27th, 2023
Here’s the reason why you will want to visit Charleston with NextTribe: We work with NextTribe women who live in Charleston to open doors to places and people you could never see if you went to Charleston on your own or with any other group. Founder Jeannie Ralston went to college in South Carolina and is very familiar with the city, having written about it for many publications. This is a chance to get a broad experience in Charleston with some fabulous new friends.

Downtown NYC Insider Tour: Thursday April 20th–Monday April 24th, 2023
NextTribe Founder Jeannie Ralston moved to New York’s East Village last April, and ever since then she’s been thinking of the cool places and fascinating women in downtown and Brooklyn that she would like other NextTribers to know.
She’s put them all together for this special spring weekend, with the help of many of her friends who live downtown.

Insider Visit to Paris: Thursday June 1st–Thursday June 8th, 2023
Our trip to Paris last year was such a smashing success that we couldn’t wait to offer it again. We’ll get the true insider treatment in Paris, since we’ll be traveling with Ellen Williams, an expert in all the fabulous nooks and crannies in the city. We’ll visit off-the-beaten-path museums, eat at the bistros and cafes that locals love, shop at divine street markets and designer consignment shops, and leave town for excursions to some of the most-loved parks and artist retreats. Island Hopping in Scotland on E-Bikes + Three Days in Edinburgh: Thursday, June 22nd–Sunday, July 2nd, 2023
Scotland is wildly gorgeous. We all know that from either traveling there or reading rapt accounts by other people lucky enough to make a visit.
But nothing is quite as gorgeous–in a verdant, salty air, soul-stirring way–as the Scottish Islands, specifically the Southern Hebrides. And the best way to see this remarkable spot on the planet is on an E-Bike, where you can zoom past breathtaking seascapes, flowering bushes in front of small cottages, quaint pubs and shops, and vistas of green pastures and enormous skies filled with muscular clouds.
NextTribe Founder Jeannie Ralston rode this island-hopping route on a bike a few years ago, and she reports that it was one of the most memorable jaunts of her life. She wants to share this special spot with nine other NextTribers.

Inca Trail Hike to Machu Picchu: Saturday, Sept. 30th–Sunday, Oct. 8, 2023
NextTribe is going back to Machu Picchu, and you’re invited! If Machu Picchu is on your bucket list or even a glimmer on your travel horizon, we can take you there. We’re running an all-woman hike of the Inca Trail with a proven tour operator in Peru and will end up at mystical, magical Macchu Picchu for a day of exploration.
NextTribe Founder Jeannie Ralston has hiked the Inca Trail twice and will be on the trip to encourage other hikers, just as she was in October ’22 when all 12 women in the group successfully completed the hike.

Our 6th Annual Day of the Dead Visit to San Miguel de Allende: Sunday, Oct. 29th–Saturday, Nov. 4th, 2023
This is one of our most popular trips, which is why we keep offering it. San Miguel de Allende, always voted one of the top international destinations, has it all. Colonial architecture. Fabulous restaurants. Stunning history. Studio and home visits with local NextTribe women. World-class shopping. Margaritas. Hot springs.
We take over a boutique hotel and set about to take this gorgeous city by storm during Mexico’s Day of the Dead festival, which is a lively, life-affirming holiday. We make an altar to commemorate our loved ones, we join in the festivities painted to look like Catrinas, and we experience it all with other curious, game women.
