Your Deposit
Your initial deposit in non-refundable and reserves your spot on a trip. Even though your deposit is non-refundable, it is transferrable to another trip provided you cancel at least 60 days (for domestic trips) or 90 days (for international trips) prior to the start of the trip. You may apply your deposit toward any other trip that is booked within 365 days of your original trip departure date. In a few cases, the cut-off date is different, but it will be clearly stated in the trip details.
Your Balance
Full payment for your trip is due 60 days (for domestic trips) or 90 days (for international trips) prior to the start of the trip (unless another date is given for your specific trip). At 60 days (for domestic trips) or 90 days (for international trips) prior to departure, there are no refunds for any reason. If you must cancel within this 60/90 day period, you will need to contact your travel insurance company for reimbursement.
If You Cancel
Up until 90 days (international trip) or 60 days (domestic trips) prior to your trip, you can receive a refund for all but the deposit, which, as stated above, can be transferred to another trip within 365 days of your departure date. (Unless otherwise designated on your particular trip.)
At 90 days (for international trips) or 60 days (for domestic trips) prior to the retreat, there are no refunds or credits. Your room and tour has already been paid to our vendors. NextTribe cannot offer refunds for any reason (COVID, injury, illness, death, etc). For this reason, we highly recommend you to purchase trip protection insurance.
To officially cancel, you must send an email to NextTribe stating that you wish to cancel to travel@NextTribe.com.
If We Cancel
Sometimes we have to cancel or change trips due to safety concerns or circumstances beyond our control. If we do cancel, we’ll work with you to find a solution. This might include offering a comparable trip, providing refunds minus any fees we can’t recover, or presenting other reasonable alternatives.
Flights
All flight arrangements are the responsibility of the traveler. Please do not make airline reservations until the number of sign ups reach the minimum state of the trip posting.
You can book your airfare whenever you want to, however, we recommend that you wait until we notify you that the trip is definitely a “go.” Most trips sell out, some do not. If we have to cancel a trip, we will transfer the funds to a new trip or give you a refund for what you’ve paid us, but that’s all. So, if you buy a non-refundable ticket, that’s on you. We will let you know at least 60 to 90 days before departure, or sooner if the trip fills up early.
Changes to Travel
We will make every effort to operate all trips as advertised, however all itineraries are subject to change. We reserve the right to alter or make reasonable substitutions as deemed necessary.
Photography
By participating in the trip, you agree that photos taken of you during the experience may be used by NextTribe for marketing, editorial, and promotional purposes. This includes images shared by you in group platforms such as WhatsApp or our shared Google Photo Albums.
Travel Insurance
For all international trips, You MUST have travel insurance before your trip starts and recommend to be purchased within 21 days of booking your retreat. We HIGHLY recommend that you have trip protection insurance for international and domestic travel.
