By 1996, the back of the boutique had burgeoned into a collection business, complete with clothing manufacturing. Gita’s collaboration then and now with designer Lilia Gorodnitski blossomed into XCVI—1996 in Roman numerals—clothing based on comfort, style, and casual elegance.

The company prides itself on embracing an ethical vision in both design and business practices, keeping its people and its customers at the heart of its operations. Even vendors are held to a strict code of conduct that stresses commitment and compliance.

Today, the business reigns have been handed to Gita’s daughter and son, who are just  as dedicated to the legacy of family and casual, elegant fashion as ever, producing beautiful styles that bring joy and easy comfort to women and their lifestyles.

Fall Fashion 2018: The Looks

For the new fall collection, an earthy color wheel is romanced by Renaissance-inspired details and the softest, sometimes textured fabrics in oversized voluminous silhouettes. The low-impact dyes used for the sumptuous palette are free of hazardous substances and toxins.
