Giorgio Armani Eye Tint #11/Rose Ashes

I’m envious of millenials who can wear swanky pearlescent lid shadow. It doesn’t work well when your skin isn’t tight as a drum. (Shimmer + crepey-ness = not so pretty.) But I was seduced by Armani’s Eye Tint—a liquid tube shadow with a wand in a warm brown shade with metallic sheen. It swipes on like cool velvet, dries to a powdery-yet-creamy finish, and is perfect for when you don’t want a totally naked eye. It’s extra glam at night when used as the base for a more intense shadow (and keeps it in place). $38.

NYX Butter Gloss in Crème Brulee

I can’t do lipstick anymore. Most of the time, it looks like my lips are wearing me. So I stick to gloss. I love NYX Butter Gloss in Crème Brulee because it’s a smashing sheer hybrid between pink and peach with a hint of opacity. Plus, at $5 a pop, you can buy several of the more than 30 colors. $5
