What’s not to love about this mission statement from two organic skincare cosmetic execs who recently launched their own company: “Instead of fighting aging or anti-aging, we embrace healthy aging—even celebrate it.”
These are the words of Lynne Florio and Renee Tavoularis who launched their business Well Within—a beauty and wellness company—this past spring after working together for 20+ years at the super-luxe La Prairie. They were both craving something that reflected their holistic approach to health and beauty and, hey, it was time to do their own thing.
They founded a collection of skincare products that are organic and then some (free from toxic insecticides, herbicides, fungicides and fertilizers, parabens, petroleum, sulfates, phthalates and more), environmentally responsible and enhance beauty inside and out.
Working with pure, toxin- and chemical-free ingredients, they blend ingredients like pomegranate extract, beech tree bud extract, lotus flower and green algae into products that help brighten and firm skin. What we love most, though, is just the ethos of celebrating ourselves at midlife and beyond. What a gift to see organic skincare products that don’t talk about “erasing” the years or “correcting” lines but about protecting delicate skin and nourishing the senses. Well done, Well Within!
